ZBrush is the best digital sculpting software for professionals, but it is also the most expensive. Fortunately, people who are unsure whether a large investment is worthwhile can start small and try the free ZBrushCoreMini or the inexpensive ZBrushCore first. These feature-light and generally limited versions of the application will get you started sculpting with a smaller number of tools and capabilities, but will still give you an idea of what Pixologic’s software is capable of.
