Meher trailers Pvt Ltd made a joint venture with Germany based company Velsycons which became A new firm known as Meher Velsycons Cement transport systems came up with an alternative for the cement bags in India which was, storing and transporting cement in cement silos.

Traditionally, for the transportation of cement, earlier cement bags were used to store and transport cement. But these cement bags have a lot of drawbacks and are not an appropriate way to store cement and transport it.  

Basically, A silo is a structure for storing bulk materials. A cement silo is an essential equipment used for ready-mix concrete batching plants and for concrete products making machines. In other countries storing and transporting cement in silo was a popular practice. 

Storing and transporting cement in cement silos was not a popular company in India and also people from cement industry and construction company were not much aware about the cement silos so it became difficult for Meher Velsycons Cement transport systems to make the concept of cement silos well known to people and industries of the countries and bring it in implementation. 

As well as it was necessary for the company to educate the people about the functioning, maintenance and the advantages of the new concept of cement silos.
