Hi, I’m Navin S Goyal, the man behind the machines — or should I say, behind the Dream Engine.
I’m a commerce graduate, an animation diploma holder, and an ex-software engineering student with the soul of an artist and the mind of a strategist. I also serve as a guest professor at one of India’s leading animation institutes — because sharing knowledge is just as fulfilling as creating jaw-dropping visuals.
Since founding Dream Engine Animation Studio in Mumbai, I’ve been fortunate to work with some of India’s most dynamic industries — from defense manufacturers to FMCG giants, from startups to legacy brands — helping them tell their stories visually and impactfully.
A Creative Leader With a Practical Mindset
I’ve always believed that good communication isn’t just creative — it’s clear, crisp, and clever. That’s why I’m known in my team as the “no-nonsense storyteller.” I lead with clarity, execute with strategy, and I never shy away from rolling up my sleeves when needed.
With over 15+ years in the ITES and animation industry, my journey started in 2005 in tech, evolved into film production by 2008, and matured into a full-fledged animation entrepreneur by 2014 with Dream Engine. I even had a brief stint as Assistant Director on an animated film and led the creative direction on a 3D short for an upcoming TV series.
(Oh, and the Dream Engine logo? Yes, I designed that too. Both the original and the current one.)
